Is the return of football enough to ease the sting of summer ending?
We don’t know for sure, but the folks who run high school football are nice enough to let us eat our cake and have it too with no fewer than three Cardinal football games this summer (i.e., before high school classes start).
The Sun Prairie Media Center is pleased to announce that KSUN, sunprairiemediacenter.com, and 103.5 FM The Sun Community Radio will once again be the places to tune to for live coverage of home AND away Sun Prairie Cardinals high school football games this fall.
All home games will be broadcast live on KSUN (Charter cable channel 983 and TDS channels 13 and 1013), streamed on sunprairiemediacenter.com, and aired on 103.5 The Sun Community Radio.
Away games will also be aired live on 103.5 The Sun, which is also streamed at sunpraririemediacenter.com. The Media Center is currently in negotiations with the away sites to provide video coverage of all games pending media space availability at those sites.
Following live coverage, any games with video coverage will be made available on sunprairiemediacenter.com for on-demand viewing and will be replayed several times on KSUN channel 983.
For 2018, the Cardinals will be looking to repeat last year’s success, when the team went undefeated before falling to Kimberly in the state high school championship game.
The season promises to be an exciting one, and the Sun Prairie Media Center will be there every step of the way with announcers Mike Powers and Bill Baker calling all of the action. The Media Center is also finalizing plans with head coach Brian Kaminski for a weekly TV/radio show.
The Sun Prairie Media Center is actively soliciting business underwriters for its 2018-2019 coverage of Cardinals sports. For more information, call Jeff Robbins at 608-837-4193 or e-mail at jrobbins@cityofsunprairie.com.
