Effective January 1, 2018, the Sun Prairie Media Center will begin transitioning from a volunteer-based organization to a membership-based organization.
Sun Prairie Media Center members will have exclusive access to the Sun Prairie Media Center studios, equipment, and airwaves!
SPMC members will receive the following benefits:
• Access to the Sun Prairie Media Center studios, equipment, and editing workstations.
• Ability to submit programming to be aired on KSUN, 103.5 FM The Sun Community Radio, and sunprairiemediacenter.com.
• Professional assistance from experienced SPMC staff.
• KIDS-4 and workshop enrollment at discounted member rates.
• Exclusive members-only membership card and t-shirt.
• Invitation to annual volunteer appreciation gathering.
• Year-round thank-you messages airing on KSUN, KIDS-4, and 103.5 FM The Sun that acknowledge your support.
• And more to come!
Most importantly, memberships will help the Sun Prairie Media Center, a vital city resource for community information, engagement, and involvement, survive and thrive. Memberships are valid for one year. All contributions to the Sun Prairie Media Center. including membership fees, will continue to be tax-deductible.
Anyone wishing to become a member of the Sun Prairie Media Center for 2018 should fill out this form, scan it, and e-mail it back to SPMC director Jeff Robbins. Please note that membership rates on the form are intended for residents living within the Sun Prairie Area School District. Memberships for residents living outside the SPASD are still available (here’s that form) and continue to be $120 annually.
Forms/payment can be mailed to Sun Prairie Media Center, 1350 Linnerud Drive, Sun Prairie, WI, 53590 or dropped off in person at the same address. Checks should be made out to Sun Prairie Media Center. Payments can be also be made online using the “Sun Prairie Media Center Memberships/Services” field. (Please note a 2.35% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions.)
