Sun Prairie East and West basketball seasons for both boys and girls are beginning and we’ll have coverage of some of the home games for all four teams. Coverage is provided by volunteers who are dedicated to bringing local sports coverage to the community. We appreciate the time, and commitment it takes for these announcers to cover these games. Game coverage will take place on either KSUN Now or KSUN Life. The games broadcast on KSUN Now will also simulcast on 103.5FM, The SUN. Sun Prairie football returns to KSUN! SPMC is planning coverage of every home game for Sun Prairie Cardinals and Sun Prairie Wolves. Home games are scheduled to be broadcast on KSUN Now (Spectrum cable channel 983, TDS channels 983/1983). All games will be streamed on sunprairiemediacenter.com, on the SPMC Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV channels, and on the free-to-download Sun Prairie Media Center app. Home games are also scheduled to air live on 103.5 FM The Sun Community Radio. Here’s your child’s chance to write and produce their own videos by joining the one-of-a-kind KIDS4 program! KIDS4 is an after-school media production program run by the Sun Prairie Media Center designed for students in 4th through 8th grade.   In KIDS4, students are trained in many areas necessary to create their own television and video productions including cameras, lighting, sound, directing, producing, writing, editing, and animation. While students work with adult staff, their creativity is unfiltered, and their work is entirely their own. By creating their own media messages, students become smarter and more critical consumers of others' media messages. The Sun Prairie Media Center is pleased to be partnering with the Sun Prairie Area School District for a live broadcast of the 2024 Sun Prairie High School graduation ceremony, held this year at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Madison on Friday, June 7, 2024, as well as the 2024 Prairie Phoenix Academy graduation ceremony, to be held in early June. The SPHS West ceremony will start at 5:00pm and the SPHS East ceremony will start at 7:30pm. SPMC’s coverage will be seen live on KSUN Now Charter channel 983 or TDS channels 983/1983. Another Groundhog Day in Sun Prairie has come and gone. Thanks to loyal volunteers at KIDS4 and The SUN, we will have memories from this event. KIDS4 crewmembers Olivia and Madeline got up bright and early to brave the cold weather on February 2 and headed down to Cannery Square to see what Jimmy had in mind for the upcoming weeks. Also, Team Milewski (Todd, Sara, Megan and Wyatt) helped broadcast the event live on the radio. The Sun Prairie Media Center is pleased to announce the unveiling of a new mobile app, now available for free download from the App Store or Google Play. This new app, which can be found by searching “Sun Prairie Media Center” in either the App Store or Google Play, was developed by the SPMC in collaboration with a different provider than the previous SPMC app and therefore needs to be manually downloaded. It is an entirely new app and will not automatically update to users with the previous app on their device.
